2014 Feb-March Frosty Family Blog

hello Faithfull readers.. its been a long two months as we finally have outlasted winter here in Vermont.. Can you believe temps are in the 40's  and snow is a meltin and the sap is a runnin.... that means spring !! and a dawn of new happenings..
before we talk about that lets recap the last two months..

winter came and stayed for a while... we took advantage of the cold and snowy conditions and hit the slopes with family , more family and a few friends. It started with the valentine's day storm  Uncle mark , Aunt pang , Christopher and Alyssa came for a 3 day visit to Bolton and Jay Peak. We had great time hitting the slopes and enjoying some family time... Next came a tiny warm up and then Aunt Betsy, Uncle Andrew, Charlotte and Nathaniel for a 3 day visit where we skied Sugarbush .. Unfortunately Uncle Andrew in an desperate act of bravery to save henry's ski pole caught his finger in the chair . one dislocation of pinky and . an emergency procedure latter and he was good as new. .. although betsy and Andrew seemed to be complaining of sore backs and knees... I am worried about them..
In between we also had my friend Paulie (see last feb's blog for more info on him) along with his son soren... We enjoyed a visit along with a renewal of our 5 guys night at Uncle Kev's house..  the high light... an international bubble hockey tourney where Switzerland took on Russia in the finale...not without controversy as the Russian goalie had a slight modification to the plastic puck deflector behind him.. the match is still under protest...
March came in like a lion and stayed leaving us with the coldest ... yes coldest march on record. On march 12th we had one of the largest snowstorms in March history .. over 20 inches.. what to do.. well ski some more.. which I did... hitting Bolton up for more and more.. runs.. I also caught sugarbush for a couple more visits and finally got uncle kevin out on the slopes..
Henry celebrated his 8th birthday in march with a couple of his closest friends and an Lego Movie event including movie passes, tour, pizza and cup cakes.. a "legendary" birthday for sure.. (see how I met your mother's last show this year) ...Aimee the super cake maker didn't get involved on this one but she did make a Minecraft cake for the cub scouts charity cake auction  .. this cake incidentally made over 75 dollars as myself and another participant got into a intense bidding war for the "best cake of the auction".. Aimee is the Frost family  "cake boss".. don't mess with her .. Next up .. Willy's fourth birthday although she did promise me she would stay 3 this year... I am afraid she may be just being nice to dada.. but I can hope...

Later in march we also visited aunt betsy for her birthday and some sap sipping.. after a couple of years ,finally uncle Andrew is getting the hang of it and his syrup is actually close to Vermont's quality
so.. I  said there was some new happenings... well it turns out my cgi experiment was just that.. unfortunately CGI's  contract with Vermont was terminated  and I am now in search of new opportunities .... in the mean time I have hit the slopes with a vengeance and start to write my next chapter in life...
hope you all are well.. come for a visit ,, stay a while...
enjoy Vermont

2014 January Frosty Family Update

January is always a month of birthday's and snow.. This year was no different as Sophie enjoyed a Winter Wonderland party with 10 of her friends including snowman making,, sledding, coloring snow ,hot chocolate bar and of course presents and a  cake shaped like a ski mountain with  cookie trees , gummy bears skiing down it.. How does this all happen.. the extreme birthday party maker and mom Aimee... She also enjoyed her "29th" birthday with gifts you would always want .... a soup cook book and a spa treatment... Henry skied and played basket ball and willa herself got on skis for the first time...
She is doing great... As for me ..I continue to help CGI with its Vermont Health connect website .. unfortunately... its untimely problems have caused Vermonters to  reconsider CGIs' future... so I'll be looking forward to some new projects..
