The 2013 xmas season can be best summed up by the famous 1990 vanilla ice wrapper ... ICE ICE Baby
We had lots of ice..on the ground as we had a huge ice storm which started around Dec 21 and did not stop for 4 days. the ground was rock hard and still is as we've had more ICE... and a bit more rain and just a little snow.. Bad skiing . I also had to give Grannie who visited my ski poles to help her navigate the frozen slippery walkway...
The other ICE we didn't have was out of our refrigerator as the ice machine stopped working. Oh the irony!!!We are still waiting to get it fixed
Nevertheless we had a great Christmas enjoying Pappi and Granny for stay along with cousin Gisella and Aimee's brother and sister in law. We had great meals ,company and cookies every night !!!!
. Henry's favorite's was eating monkey balls and building his new star wars lego.. Sophie's favorite part of xmas was all the xmas cheer and singing songs along with Aimee/family .. ( we have frosty the snow man and jingle bells down )Willa's favorite gift was her barking doggie (thanks Uncle billie) Sophie's favorite was her American girl doll who now sleeps with her nightly. (incidentally these dolls look real some times as I mistakenly kissed it instead of sophie one night)
Our new years was low key this year but we did rock the Downton abbey premiere with our friends the goldsmiths after new years by dressing up in 20's garb (Aimee in a vintage dress and myself in Dad's old tux) and watching downtown abbey premiere of season 4 (I am now a fan)
Andrew's job roles on for now as Vermont Health connect is getting better every day . Aimee is praying for snow for KSV's client Okemo ski mountain..
In January we started our ski season with Willa on Skies along with Sophie getting better .. Henry is doing basketball and a skiing as well. Its tough to keep up with him..
